When COBRA participants make their premium payments, Ameriflex will credit these payments to the employer as a remittance payment. The employer will use this amount to pay insurance carriers so that this participant can continue their coverage.

Premiums are remitted to the employer by the 15th of the following month from which they are received. This is also when your monthly remittance report is available to view online. Ameriflex sends notifications to the designated plan enrollment contact for each individual's election or termination from COBRA.

• Plan Administrators are responsible for ensuring that qualified beneficiaries who appear on COBRA reports are covered on the elected plans.
• Plan Administrators are responsible for auditing their carrier invoices to ensure that they are not paying for coverage for a COBRA-qualified beneficiary who has never elected COBRA, or who had elected and was later terminated from COBRA.
• Ameriflex will not be responsible for premiums paid to insurance carriers for individuals who have been terminated from COBRA.
