How can funds be used or claims reimbursed? (New Platform)

To utilize your available funds, you will need to pay out of pocket for a service and then submit a claim manually for reimbursement.

File a claim and reimburse yourself

You can submit a claim to reimburse yourself on your desktop or mobile app.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log in to your Ameriflex account with your credentials.

2. Click File a Claim at the top of the page. 

Mobile App Information: If you are using the mobile app, tap on Menu to access the File a Claim button.

3. Select Pay myself

Information: When choosing this option, the reimbursement will be issued to you, the participant.

The File A Claim - Pay Myself page appears. 

4. Click the down arrow under Account Type to bring up the drop down menu, then locate and select the account from which you are seeking reimbursement.

Information: As a Participant, you may have more than one account type.

5. Click Upload File.

6. Select your file (i.e. itemized receipt or Explanation of Benefits (EOB)) to upload it. Check the file details to make sure it includes all of the requested information. 

Mobile App Information: If you are using the mobile app, you can upload a file by taking a picture or selecting the file of your itemized receipt or EOB.

7. Click Next. On the following page, fill out the required fields.

Note: The Start Date and End Date fields can include the dates of service or the date range for multiple dates of service.

9. Click Next. The last page of steps appears.

10. Read the terms and check the box to accept the terms.

Note: If you have any additional notes, include them in the Additional Notes box.

11. Click Submit Claim.

You successfully submitted a claim to reimburse yourself.
