Expedite an Employee’s Card?

When Ameriflex expedites a card, employees will not receive the card overnight, however it will typically arrive 3-4 business days sooner than non-expedited cards. Our standard turnaround time for cards is 7-10 business days.

*Please note: due to COVID-19, expediting cards may not be available. If interested in proceeding with this option, we can investigate if expediting of cards has restarted.

If you wish for Ameriflex to expedite a card to your employee, please note there is a $40 fee that would be charged to the employer. Also, if a card was already issued for the employee, we would not stop that card from either being sent or deactivating that card, so a new expedited card can be reissued, which may cause further delays in the employee having the card in hand. 

However, employees do not need a physical card to start to incur expenses, as long as their plan is effective. 

Employees are able to immediately submit claims for reimbursement if they have any expenses prior to their cards arriving. We have an extremely easy, user-friendly and streamlined claims process, which allows for processing to take place within 2-3 business days of receipt. Simply have your employee keep a detailed and itemized receipt for their claim, and we can reimburse the employee directly via direct deposit and we even offer direct pay to provider options as well.
